Driving sales excellence with custom software: My expertise oversees the development and maintenance of proprietary software applications and integrations supporting $2+ billion yearly across 1500+ Spirit Halloween pop-up stores, 700+ Spencer Gifts brick & mortar stores, and home office ERP systems.
• Established streamlined, robust governance and controls over annual work request and project management for seasonal (Spirit Halloween) and ongoing (Spencer's) initiatives, mitigating risk and driving alignment of stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Accounting, and HR.
• Limited resources, unlimited possibilities. I tackled this challenge by strategizing with business partners to prioritize and budget current and future projects, squeezing the most value out of development resources. The result? More achieved with less with Smartsheet keeping us all on the same page.
• Migration / Transformation of legacy, custom AS400 ERP to .NET SQL Server technology. Utilized experience to drive all phases from the roadmap to implementation.
• Successfully integrated agile and waterfall principles into a tailored SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle). This led minimal defects, established a reliable and repeatable process for continuous delivery.

Applications for NYC are built with Angular front end over an Oracle and / or a SQL Server backend while using Confluence, Jira, Azure Devops and BitBucket, along with Smartsheet for agile project management. Quick communication is with Flock along with Zoom, Teams, Skype, Chime, Uber Conference.
MOL's first Mobile App that established a foothold in the mobile arena for better customer and vendor relationships. It marked the culmination of my concept, to proposal, to development, test and deployment.
Defined the Software Development Lifecycle and created applications for containerized shipping business.
Eliminated stand-alone and manual processes for North American containerized shipping division. Directly partnered with business process owners supporting 11 major subsystems. Responsible for project plans and work assignments for a team of 12 programmers.
Applications Project Manager for a variety of Client Server, Groupware and Mainframe projects which included planning, budgeting and cost tracking. Managed 23 programmers and project leads.
Led the evolution of MOL-IT into a true IT service organization for MOL (Mitsui OSK Lines), successfully implementing standardized processes and optimizing resource allocation, that delivered optimal solutions for every work request.
Entrusted to lead winding down and closure for the systems in countries and MOL-IT. Consulted to 2 other MOL divisions and continued the management of offshore, in-house development centers cost savings.
Coordinated global application standardization for operational payables that prevented fraud, duplicate payments and reduced support requests. Implemented a single, centralized database and data center from remote installations which reduced license and hardware costs and streamlined head count. Consulted to various divisions and subsidiaries on IT best practices.

• Spearheaded and launched MOL Liner's mobile app revolution, empowering customers with iOS and Android access to near-time shipment details, service routes, container tracking and fraud prevention. Captains also gained a digital edge with vessel arrival and departure task management.
• Created the Application Development Head Count Budget Process that contained costs and ensured the right number of resources.
• As a member of the PMO, established the work breakdown structure (WBS) and defined communications, scope, quality, risk, change request and stakeholder management.
• Established MOL Liner division process that supported the Japanese Financial Instruments and Exchange, which is commonly called J-Sox after the US Sarbanes-Oxley act.
Led and directed additional application development teams that totaled in excess of 150 resources and started the beginning of the company close.
• Completed .NET Beta application migration that improved usability for ease of operational payable processing and monthly financial reporting to parent company.
